Pink 4 Sale - everything here is pink!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so there is more Pink about then usual to support this very important cause. So wear (or eat) Pink with pride and know that you are also conveying a message of hope and support at the same time.

Many moons ago you could buy a small pink ribbon to pin onto your jacket, but now many companies have jumped on board and altered some of their products or made limited edition stuff just for this month, which is bloomin' great! Now excuse me whilst I stop slobbering from looking at that Pink M&Ms Brownie Cake.

Nintendo are to offer a pink WiiMote from 3rd December in Japan, it was revealed in an event. There is no news yet of prices or other colours available in the future but fingers crossed they come your local shops and stores very soon.

It is quite surprising it has taken Nintendo to make WiiMotes in other colours, although we have had the varied colour silicone jackets in the past. My hopes are for a nice neon pink rather than a baby pink WiiMote.

Sadly Nintendo currently haven't released any images of the new Pink Wiimotes but we can use our imaginations :)

What is it? The Pink Concept. In a nutshell (a very small one) Brad Pitt was inspired whilst on the set of a movie by a house swathed in pink fabric. The idea of The Pink Concept was born... The Lower 9th Ward which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina has been used as a place to show hope using the colour Pink.

Brad Pitt and the team at Make It Right Foundation have been working hard, constructing monopoly style houses from lightweight aluminium and covered in pink fabric. The pink houses are scattered and constructed once donations come in. Those donations will then go on to help build real houses. The message is "They have not been forgotten"

Since crashing her yacht "Ella's Pink Lady", there has been media frenzy surrounding 16 year old sailor Jessica Watson. The ambitious teenager is still intent on sailing around the world even after her Barbie pink boat collided with a 60,000 tonne coal tanker.

A young soldier in Afghanistan made headline news this week, when he was pictured fighting off the Taliban wearing a pair of pink I love New York boxer shorts.

According to his parents, Zachery Boyd was disturbed from his rest by shots and went out to fight wearing the infamous pink boxers and flip flop combination.

Here's an interview with his parents, no doubt pink boxers will see a spike in sales!

I must say as a follower of Miss O'Day from the start of MTV's "Making The Band" where P.Diddy searched for a female supergroup, I am a fan!



You could certainly tell the ex-Danity Kane singer had the star quality from the beginning. Here she is at Barbie's 50th Birthday Party wearing shocking pink and looking sparkly and fabulous.

Although the pink loving former girl band member has changed her image many times over the last few years, she appears to be very driven and determined and she looks hot in pink so we love her! Yay Team Aubrey!
